A change took place during the 1800th century when sheet music was mass produced. Then it became more difficult to give sufficient instructions for free interpretation. But a modern researcher has tried to let musicians play classical music more freely according to their own ears, and this gives new life to the music.
I don't think there is any built-in plan in the scientific revolution from the 1700th century and in the subsequent industrial revolution, but in the inherent logic of these technological leaps lies a devaluation of the human fallible nature and the human trembling hands before the absolute regularity and tirelessness of the machine.
Human idiosyncrasies the finest we have
But much of the beauty of us humans is that we do everything our way and that we repeat mistakes to really test if even our own way can't work.
In the research review "My European Family: The Last 54 Years" (Albert Bonniers förlag, Stockholm 2015 page 65) tells the science journalist Karin Bojs, among others that it was the inability of the Cro-Magnons to adhere to the exact same pattern that spurred their evolution much faster than the Neanderthals. The Neanderthals had almost exactly the same designs but symmetrically advanced in craftsmanship over the millennia. But the cro-magnon introduced the irregularity which allowed us to create art and perhaps speed up our technological development.
And like the article in forskning.se in this post, the own human variation can increase the quality of art.
Our descendants may become robots
But I've also read in a number of books that the tech optimists on the mainstream side either see our future as our human descendants to be robots. Or should one copy our bodies electronically to bring us up into a digital cloud. But a digital copy of me is not me, I think. A robot cannot be my great-grandchild.
Technology has brought us far and given us a lot of progress. But perhaps it is time to preserve humanity's role in existence and to think a little about the environment.
Do we need quantum computers that cross the border between the microuniverse where quanta exist and where the laws of nature are so different that they hardly seem to exist and our macrocosm where there are fairly strong laws of nature.
Technology optimists also hope that we will be able to implant a chip into our brains that enhances the prefrontal cortex so that we never make moral mistakes. Our brains must also be connected to a digital internet cloud so that we can download all the information we want from the search engines with the speed of thought. But who has created that information in the net? How do we know we can trust it? And do we want to let the mechanics regulate how our brains think? Are we human then?
In families with artistic, musical, visual or creative talent, predispositions to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder are more common. It is a few hundred genes and environmental predispositions in an unknown mix that carry the disease predisposition.

We already have the technology needed to create welfare for everyone on earth and we are close to having the technology to save the environment. What we need now is to value the human and to create an economy that frees people and does not enslave us.
