
The clear path of Trump's star in the sky is not as obvious. But the Republican presidential candidates who will probably become the new stars are at least equally against democracy and the rule of law.

My thinking is that if we are to reduce the threats from these anti-democrats, we need to get rid of neoliberalism, austerity policies and save-in-the-barns. These mean that society does not provide livelihood opportunities for the citizens, nor a nature or climate in which it is possible to live in the long term. Anti-democrats then become stronger.
The US has started with one Green New Deal. Let's hope it's enough. The red-greens must dare to protect low- and middle-income earners and nature and the climate both on an international level and locally.
Man is one of the weakest and most vulnerable animals in existence. What makes man conquer the earth and is conquering the universe is not our ability to compete with each other but our ability to by joining forces create much more together with less effort than we could do individually. It is also our ability to take care of our weakest or those who get sick. Development takes a long time, and if an animal is to become as intelligent as scientists can become, it must be get a chance to come back from broken bones, mental exhaustion or anything else that can happen. United we stand, divided we fall. Love is the foundation of humanity's strength.
