Their time in psychiatric inpatient care was reduced by 30%. That's what we at Red Justice so often say jobs for everyone with decent conditions and fair social security and benefits for those who still can't bear to work solves so many of society's problems such as mental illness, average life expectancy, obesity, alcoholism, roe abuse, crime and militant radicalization of the vulnerable. The cost of keeping a large part of the people economically and socially vulnerable is enormous for society both nationally and in terms of human suffering.
When we had a policy of full employment through a large public sector, we had the lowest unemployment in the capitalist world and generous social insurance at the same time.
