It's time for a new working life. Where we get on with our tasks and don't burn out. Colleague (no. 1, 2017) has had Novus interview just over 1 civil servants about their working conditions. The results are alarming:
- 58% have problems related to stress at work.
- 67% cannot hand over tasks when time is pressed.
- 61% do not have time to complete the tasks without overtime.
What can we deal with the situation? It is important to have union organization with clear demands directed at the employer. It is equally important to agree in everyday life with one's colleagues not to let anyone be exposed to a harmful workload. If we take responsibility for each other and put an end to it, we will have a healthier working life. When fewer people take sick leave, society's expenses for sick leave naturally decrease and more people can stay longer at work. In the long run, we all benefit from a humane working life.
