Lean production came in the 80s. Road to success or exhaustion? Are you for or against "lean production". It is a question that I have encountered online. The topic concerns Sweden's development and the government's policy on the Alliance's "Path to the Future".
Lean production is an abused term. The word is mistranslated. The West could not interpret Japanese philosophy of Tao in yin and yang or the feminine and masculine.
The Western method applied to the large-scale industry, which is very much built on pushing efficiency and solutions "top down" with technocracy and control systems. A "wine press" that squeezes the must out of people. The assembly line is a symbol.
As a parenthesis, Gethsemane means wine press.
Tao describes the underlying order, which the universe laws in a balance between polarities between "the female" and "the male principle". Which applies to all areas. A relationship between heaven and earth

Kaizen改善became a concept of leadership that was developed for Toyota's production development and continuous quality improvement. Development from within and out of a dynamic collaboration through a production team and together with management. Yes and no did not apply or rather these concepts are not used. What matters is that we understand "or " we do not understand ". The whole team is a subject.
Nothing was started unless everyone understood. Consensus. In the West this is difficult. We can say “yes” without obligation. In organizations there can therefore be decisions that do not apply. Not only here but also in politics.
From this perspective came “Lean production” about how to manage resources. The purpose of “Lean” is to identify and eliminate all factors in a production process that do not create value for the end customer. Simply put, it is about 'More value for less work'.
Instead of pushing solutions from above, they are "sucked up" or grow out of the group from within in collaboration with the experts and the development of the right equipment and components for production. Management is there to support and secure the conditions. A servant leadership.
This corresponds to the feminine principle and the masculine. Together, everything is a process in an integrated collaboration from different directions and the environment. A symbiosis that also applies to nature. If one part ceases, then everything else is affected.
This process is multidimensional unlike the linear and top-driven system.
Japanese industry enjoyed enormous success and competitiveness in the 70s . The zero-defect principle was in effect. Japanese leaders said that Japan was superior to the West's primitive philosophy of reality and organization.
The West could not catch up because they could not understand this ancient knowledge . A universal principle in everything. In life on earth, the design of the environment and culture, about food, the design of gardens, buildings; and in artistic and creative work.
The West tried to crack the “lean” philosophy. The first attempt was called “ Fragile production” . Fragile production. It could not be accepted. It was too diffuse. Industrial leaders could not absorb it with their large control and career organizations.
The West took the axe and said "Lean production". That's concrete. Everything would become lean, lean organizations, companies, hospitals, healthcare, etc. Survival meant chasing costs, chasing numbers, people, money and time. A constant increase in productivity through rationalizations.
Rationalizations took over. In bigotry, everything could become a cost. Even that which is an investment. A downward spiral develops like a maelstrom.
However, not all. Many were able to approach the method and change their attitudes and find the quality process.
But a template gained a foothold that damaged society, leadership, organizations and not least public health. An entire way of thinking is being corrupted. Many young people have suffered under brutal leadership. Back to militancy and the autocracy of directors. Content in development is fading. Organizations are becoming rigid. Authorities are losing focus, which has now happened and is happening.
The concept of quality disappeared during the 80s. A great destruction of capital occurred in rationalizations and layoffs. Important expertise disappeared. Quality losses cost the industry billions. Hospitals and healthcare facilities were closed and new ones were built for large-scale and central control. Telephone gateways came that cut off direct relations between patients and healthcare centers. The system with the electronics and technology relationship came everywhere. The information society is advancing.
Stress and illness came in the 80s. Statistics show it.
The stress also came in Japan. The work eventually became a life's task and the company swallowed people in its capitalism.
Reinfeldt has used this for the entire nation. Cost-cutting, short-termism, quantity-hunting and profit-hunting without ethics and total responsibility. Road to more crisis and chaos.
Society also consists of the female and male parts in the application of Tao, which provides the dynamics of society.
Without perhaps knowing it, Keynesianism contains this through the connection between the business sector, " nutrition for life", and the public sector, which the Swedish model was built on and provided welfare. It is not without the concept of "father of the country" as the benefactor of the people
Intuitively, the "greyhounds" could realize this . Those who wore grey coats and worked in workshops. Natural relationships developed between work and public education, between engineers and craftsmen. There is a tradition here. People came to the center and the material became a tool for welfare and development. Access to skilled craftsmen founded a world-class Swedish industrial development.
Economics consists in part of what "grows" which becomes companies and society's organizations which become a support for growth and development in a cycle.
This attacks the right wing feverishly and wants to ruin all relationships and build systems to be pushed down on us all and create the "wine press". Privatization and individualization make society "single-sex". Materialism is not all-powerful. There is another dimension to life.
