Yes, the red-greens have not made major changes since the Alliance ruled. Mainly because not more people voted for the red-greens. But the changes the red-green made, such as increased unemployment insurance, dropped deadlock in health insurance, increased public investments especially in housing construction and welfare billions to the municipalities have meant that we have had a boom again and that more old and new Swedes are employed than for a long time.
Things to be grateful for in Sweden:
- not all homes are beautiful, but they exist in any case and the socially vulnerable areas in Sweden are significantly more tolerable than those in e.g. New York or English cities
- the university, komvux and school are free. many who give it their all can make the class trip
- we get a lot of welfare for the little tax we pay. if we could raise the tax a little we would get even more
- there is the possibility of wage subsidy employment for those with functional variations
- The public right makes it easier to swim and camp wherever we want than in other countries
- we have one of the world's strongest climate laws thanks to the current government
- the public libraries lend out books, films and music for free with a large selection of variations
- then for a cheap price for those who were lucky enough to be able to afford it, you can pay for music services such as Spotify (SEK 50-100 a month for almost all the world's music), magazine services such as Readly (thousands of magazines for SEK 99 per month and you can co-subscribe with four others), film/TV series services such as Netflix or HBO for around SEK 100 per month
- mobile telephony is a little more expensive, but fixed-price subscriptions have come down in price and you can call, text and MMS freely anywhere in Sweden and with certain subscriptions throughout the EU and surf for the same amount as you have access to in Sweden
- with a little luck and skill you can make friends. welfare in Sweden also means that we trust each other more and find it easier to make friends with others
- thinking about how to work efficiently (maximum output for minimum effort) can reduce stress and allow you to sleep and be happy and rested. even though stress is high in Sweden, we have one of the world's best working environments thanks to social democratic laws on employment security (LAS) and on influence for employees in the workplace (MBL)
- we have a relatively high life expectancy in Sweden internationally
- we actually have the world's best integration of refugees and immigrants despite what the critics say. Then we have to teach the new arrival our mother tongue, which the English and French often avoid
- the high level of immigration contributes to growth i.a. in that it provides jobs in refugee reception but also that the new arrivals contribute to consumption. We have had higher growth than comparable countries since the immigration explosion in 2015, i.a. because of this.
- despite high unemployment, we have one of the world's and in our Swedish history the highest employment rates for both natives and new arrivals ever
- thanks to the fact that there is the possibility of further training in the event of unemployment, especially for those with CSN remaining, our workforce in Sweden internationally is very capable of adapting to the new workforce needs
- income differences are low in Sweden. the large differences in wealth are mainly due to the fact that the Alliance has worsened social security and that income from capital has increased in contrast to wages
- despite the fact that gender equality is too weak in Sweden, our degree of feminism is internationally strong. then of course we must become more equal between the sexes and the classes
- we have great redistribution in Sweden, which means that the poor can continue to consume in a recession, which shortens and softens the recessions.
Of course, we must continue to improve Sweden and greatly. If more people vote for the red-greens, they also get the power or mandate as it is called to bring about such changes. We must spread the facts that with welfare and even more so with red-green welfare, hope and the future come to Sweden and the world.
