The Europa portal reports that Members of Parliament may only read TTIP agreement in special rooms in Brussels. Otherwise, there is a "risk" that the Swedish publicity principle would come into force.
A frequent occurrence argument against making the agreement public is that the negotiations have not yet been concluded. That's how it usually goes. But it's a poor defense. TTIP with the investor protection ISDS constitutes a threat to the foundations of democracy itself; that politics is above the companies. CETA is not much better and contains largely the same mechanisms.
Such an extreme and anti-democratic agreement such as TTIP should not be negotiated behind closed doors. It must be on the table.
