We live in a society where the most important thing is to increase profits for shareholders. That is the highest purpose.
In such a society there is only room for the profitable and 100% productive individuals. The sick, the unemployed or those who cannot perform at their best in all situations are seen as a burden. The step is not far to Hitler's Germany, where disabled people were gassed to death.
We must create a society where everyone is offered work; work with good pay and good conditions. A society where we take care of each other and give special support to those who need it.
