Global competition leads to things being produced by whoever can do it the cheapest and most efficiently. This causes problems when people in e.g. China works under slave-like conditions and wages. If globalization is to work, the world must change, so that all countries offer fair wages and working conditions. Healthy competition would be possible if all countries had strong labor laws and strong trade unions that allowed for human efficiency but did not accept inhumane conditions and wages.
