It should be a golden time for social democracy now. Capitalism is in crisis. Even prominent business journals admit it. Some advocate Marxism as a solution. I don't think you need to be so drastic. Social democracy can be enough if it moves to the left and invests in full employment by expanding the public sector and increases redistribution by defending wage increases and making social security more generous. In this way, consumers would get more money and be able to keep the wheels of the economy rolling. At the same time, social democracy needs to regulate and perhaps nationalize the banks, which are partly financially irresponsible and partly unable to bear their losses as a normal company is expected to do.
As the Moderates almost always say about themselves, our problem is about communicating our genius to the voters. In order to do that, a red-green, national mass media is needed that can refute and show alternatives to the citizens' non-functioning and unjust ideas on a daily basis.
