How do you think we can achieve full employment? I think the way has to be via an increased element of public sector expansion or Keynesianism. The alliance has tried the tax reduction route to create jobs and then every new job created has cost an average of 1-1,5 million in lost tax revenue.
The expansion of the public sector should also include the renationalisation of privatized infrastructure (electricity, communication etc) and the introduction of a 6-hour working day with maintained pay.
More training places, more labor market training and increased funding for research are also necessary for full employment. The continued streamlining of production will require competent personnel and that the jobseekers can acquire the know-how that is currently in demand.
Here is a brilliant editorial column from Aftonbladet by Fredrik Virtanen on the same subject.
