In 2011, the then-bourgeois government admitted that it did not want absolute full employment, but an equilibrium unemployment rate of 5-6%. This requires an unemployment fund with more generous compensation without insurance, since the unemployed then do the job of pushing down wages and prices for the sake of Sweden's economy.
