The national economists seem to try to deceive the economics students that man is an egoist who sucks at others. Even if all people were egoists, I claim that everyone's egoism does not manifest itself in the same way. The short-term rational and ruthless big capitalist thinks only of his own profit maximization and gives a shit about others. The poor person who shits on others, however, shits on himself. The rational egoism of the low-paid or middle-income person is that there is a system that makes it bearable for the majority of the population to live in with strong labor rights, good working environment, regulated rent levels, a large public sector that keeps unemployment down and that stabilizes purchasing power, social insurance for the unemployed, sick and disabled etc needy in the event that he himself or his relatives end up in these needs. The rich can take care of themselves, but the poor need a helping protection system. So don't let the economists' teaching that man is an egoist lead you to altruistically allow the rich to maximize their exploitation of the people.
