Women's wages are brutally lagging behind in Sweden. Girls work extra in care for a paltry 16 a month.
Carpenters and electricians earn as much as 25-30, civil engineers 000-30, while a librarian and a nurse earn around 40-000.
This is not only deeply unfair and unworthy of the 2000st century. It is also unprofitable for society for women (and men in women's professions) to be a gender of the working poor. Had these women received a better wage, they would have been able to consume and keep the country's production of goods and services going.
Women mainly work in the public sector. We must have a tax rate that means we can both afford welfare and fair wages and conditions for those who work in the public sector.
