"And here is some of the content: Change labor law, start introducing market rents, toughen penalties, tighten migration policy, limit benefits and lower taxes. Take a deep breath - and feel the color return to your cheeks. " So writes the journalist Göran Eriksson in the article i SvD "Now even M leaves the no-go zone of politics" about how M leaves the center of politics to aim to the right in the 2018 election.
Although the Alliance's 2006-14 left turn was a triangulating attack on welfare where they tried to introduce market rents (and got some rent-raising decisions passed), gradually weakened labor law by stealth, drastically cut work environment inspectors, attacked the union by removing the right to deduct union dues, lowered unemployment insurance and reduced the right to sick leave to officially stimulate people to work but according to leaked, secret M documents to lower people's reservation salary. That is, the lowest salary people can think of when looking for a new job. The 2006-14 alliance worsened welfare in even more ways.
What was the result? More burned out, more unemployed and fewer in work.
Now M's new party chairman doesn't even have the sense to hide how much M loathes the welfare of low- and middle-income earners.
They do not understand that welfare is the basis for job growth. Poor consumers cannot consume. Consumption is a crucial basis for profits and tax revenues which create more jobs.
M and the rest of the bourgeois parties do not understand that it is when people have money and feel safe that they feel good and can work or look for a job. Neurological research shows that the human brain works best in egalitarian organizations.
M mostly tries to lower the welfare of immigrants but international economic science shows that the economy of different income groups is followed. In a Middle Eastern country, they removed all labor rights and welfare for immigrants and then the employers only wanted to hire immigrants and not citizens of course.
