The last year's inflation has mostly meant rising prices. Wages and welfare have not kept up. Result: record box office hit the checkout at e.g. ICA and many energy companies.
Politicians especially within the right but also within the social democratic movement and trade unions contribute. They urge the wage earners not to demand compensation for increased prices.
This is because our inflation and prices originated with economist Milton Friedman and right-wing ideologue Ayn Rand in the 1970s.
