I think it was Henry Ford who for a while bussed gangsters on union activists among his factory employees. But in the end he realized that in order to sell enough cars, the employees had to be paid enough to buy his cars. For 30 years, however, real wages have fallen in the United States. German wages stagnate. Consumption is financed with loans. And when the loans on the loans were to be paid, everything collapsed in 2008. Hence the situation in Greece, which you can read about at Aftonbladet. Today's capitalists are more stupid than Henry Ford. A poor majority leads to misery, recurring recessions and political extremism.
