Increased mortality in Sweden 2024: Effects of austerity and lack of environmental policy
income
Deaths in Sweden have increased significantly in 2024, even exceeding the levels from 2020 during the pandemic. The austerity policy in healthcare and a deficient environmental policy are singled out as contributing causes.
**Main text:**
In 2024, the mortality rate in Sweden has risen significantly, even though the pandemic is now under control. Several factors contribute to this increase, including an aging population and deteriorating public health, where long-term effects of the pandemic and "long COVID" play a role. At the same time, Swedish care has continued to be under heavy pressure, which has made it difficult to provide fast and efficient care, especially for the elderly and chronically ill.
The government's policy, spearheaded by the Tidö Agreement, has meant significant austerity in the public sector. In healthcare, these cuts have led to longer waiting times and an overburdened healthcare system, which may have contributed to the increased mortality.
In addition, the government's environmental policy, which focuses on defending fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel, has been heavily criticized. This policy has contributed to continued high levels of air pollution, which has had particularly adverse effects on vulnerable groups, such as people with heart and lung disease.
Climate change, with extreme weather and rising temperatures, has further worsened the situation, especially for the most vulnerable in society. This underlines the need for a revised political strategy that prioritizes public health and the environment.
This development shows the importance of strengthening healthcare and implementing powerful measures in the environmental field to counteract the increasing mortality in Sweden.

If they tried to put Kristersson on trial for mass murder?
Such was contemplated in the UK when statistics were released showing that post-financial crisis cuts had killed 120.000 people in four years, of whom 45.368 could be identified by name and address.
The problem arises, of course, when you consider that there have been cuts all the time since 1992 (or when Bildt defended the crown). There will be quite a few to be sentenced.
The best way is perhaps a proper popular organization?

In any case, it should make low- and middle-income earners distance themselves from bourgeois and extreme right-wing politics, as well as from the chancellery right within the red-greens.
Actually, it is common humanity and understanding that is needed. The realization that we live on the same earth and must take care of it and each other. Actually, selfishness will do too. If we don't, we ourselves will suffer.
It's the same thing. The recognition is actually selfish to the extent that it holds us together as a society which is an advantage for us to do. However, we constantly risk creating social traps, i.e. that everyone tries to do well for himself, which becomes hell for everyone.
But those who try to deceive and cheat themselves to benefits usually shoot themselves in the foot personally, see http://www.aleph.se/Nada/Texts/moral.html. If it becomes too clear, no one wants anything to do with them.
