Unregulated capitalism leads to poverty for the majority of the population and diminishing profits for the rich. However, the old, social democratic model has been and is internationally incomparably superior in terms of growth and welfare for all.
Freedom, solidarity, justice, welfare, ecological sustainability must be society's overall goals. I'm still not against the fact that some can become moderately rich or that people are rewarded a little extra for education, responsibility and experience. But when capitalism is unregulated and you cut back on social security, the employment target and benefits, economic growth falls. Namely, poor people cannot consume and maintain the profits. So even though there may be some minor differences, there must be a high standard for everyone if growth is to continue to increase and society is to be fair.
In Det sovande folket, Reinfeldt wrote that in the long term he did not want any social insurance and contributions at levels higher than the social contribution. This is not only cruelly inhumane. Moreover, it would reduce the growth and profits of the rich somewhat immensely.
Keynesianism, the folk home and the old, social democratic Swedish model are unbeatable in creating work and welfare for all.
