Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt has been registered with KU for not having anchored a discussion document on the EU's future in the Riksdag's EU Committee. The moderates have retorted with a hurt voice that indeed was by no means a controversial document:
"- The document contains nothing new. We have had a dialogue with the Social Democrats about that. I interpret this as a poorly substantiated move in an election year, but of course welcome the Constitutional Committee to sort this out, says Markus Friberg."
Not controversial? Topics such as Free Trade, EU enlargement and more powerful foreign policy action there is hardly any consensus.
After all, it is best to anchor EU matters in the EU Committee. Not least as stated in the constitution. If it is a low priority to have that discussion, surely the government can hire a FAS3 person to do it for them? In any case, it will not burden the state's "good" finances. Or wait now...who is paying for FAS3?
