Collaboration is a must. Humanity's competitive advantage over the other animal species is if we maximize our ability to cooperate with each other, the animals, the earth and the universe. The severely disabled person we care for today may give birth to the next generation's Einstein.
Cooperation is our advantage. Even if we sometimes cannot make much active use due to illness/disability or age, our needs create a demand for jobs in society. The drug addict needs help with his addiction. The depressed person needs help to regain mental health. And it is work that keeps our economy going.
Balance
If we compete against each other by focusing on rewarding individual strength beyond measure, we miss our collective incomparable strength. At the same time, we must not deny man individual dreams. They motivate us to exert effort to help our neighbor. But helping our neighbor is greater than enriching oneself. We need to cooperate.
Immigrants enrich us culturally, economically and socially and we should create a world where everyone is well. Until that day comes, prosperous societies must try to accommodate as many as they can in organized ways. It is always important to ensure that employment is kept going so that everyone who is born here or who receives a residence permit and citizenship here can find meaningful employment.
We also need to provide advice and financial assistance for all countries to become ecological, prosperous, tolerant and solidary in the long run. Helping both the immigrant who comes here and the countries they come from is the best anti-terror policy there is.
Hope for survival
If we oppose the animals and nature, we will kill ourselves. Surely then some bacteria will survive the disaster our ecological society risks creating to survive and form the basis for a new life in a new nature. But humanity as it stands today will not necessarily then be allowed to join the journey. But we don't have to deny ourselves the good things in life. We need to invest all our energy in finding environmentally friendly energy sources that we have not yet found in nature. We must cooperate.
Cycle
In philosophical introspection about how to improve ourselves and the world around us, there is an endless source of knowledge. The purpose of politics and economics is to make life good for all of us, for all animals and plants and for the universe. We don't have to avoid meat, but must make sure to give the animals a tolerable existence. Life lives off other life. The wolf kills other animals and like the wolf we must also die once and feed the universe with our biological mass and energy. Until new life and perhaps new people emerge from that mass. It is important to plan for a society for, by and with everyone and God. Everything is a cycle. It is important to keep the economic and ecological cycles spinning in a sustainable way to satisfy everyone's needs while at the same time rewarding to a small extent those who put in a little extra effort.
While it is necessary for society that we do the best we can towards each other and ourselves, there needs to be room for mistakes and to some extent sometimes prioritize oneself. There is room for this too and a good society for all. In everything, balance is important. It is important to respect the individual's right to self-determination as far as possible. At the same time, we need to think about everything and everyone else too. Again, balance matters. But we need to cooperate.
Collaborate on housing for all
We need housing for everyone. For this is needed state aid and control of housing construction. The private sector is good at what we can do without, but the more vital and the more predictable the need, the more the state should check that the need is met for everyone.
The democratic welfare state needs to be big and strong to guarantee all our needs. No one is strong all their lives. At the same time, a strong civil society is needed to ensure that the state is oriented towards solidarity and tolerance and not at the whims of power.
If we create a social economy that produces what is needed and not for maximum consumption, we can work less and less and make society more ecological and fair. However, some work is always needed but these can be done in spare time and are enjoyable as social care for one's family and friends and philosophical introspection. (NOTE! The of the public sector social care and care should be large and expanding at the same time.) We should dedicate ourselves more and more to playing, being social, researching, furthering our education, philosophizing, researching, creating and dancing! More and more people should be able to work with culture, education and research.
We need a knowledge positive, Keynesian, tolerant and ecological welfare democracy in all countries!
