If I remember correctly, the idea with the level of the study funds was that someone who takes them would be able to live at the same level as a low-income earner. Now the student aid, including loans, is SEK 7250 a month. Few low income earners earn less than 9-10000 after tax. Therefore, the study funds should also be at this level. Then it would also be possible to live on them.
It may well be acceptable that one expects that a student may have to work a little extra to make ends meet. But how much extra work do you have to do? In addition, you cannot earn any amount of money without the tuition fees being reduced.
Put the study funds at a level that allows even children of low-income earners to focus on their studies!
