Ulf Bjereld, professor of political science, writes in the magazine Konkret about Tidölaget's plans to place asylum seekers in special reception centres. Bjereld strongly criticizes this. He believes that this goes against a humane refugee policy and damages Sweden's reputation internationally.
Camps as in authoritarian societies
Bjereld believes that gathering asylum seekers in these reception centers, called "Tidöläger," is reminiscent of authoritarian societies where individual freedom is not a high priority. He points out that this can lead to families being kept apart, which would be a violation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Integration is made more difficult when people are isolated from society and have difficulty learning the language and establishing contacts.
He also notes that many asylum seekers cannot be deported to their home countries. These people then become stuck in a comfortless existence in the isolation of the reception centers.
Bjereld also questions the legality of keeping asylum seekers who have not committed crimes locked up. The professor believes that many would try to arrange their own accommodation. This would lead to paperlessness.
The Social Democrats wanted temporary accommodation
The Social Democrats have also proposed using reception centers for asylum seekers. But in their proposal, asylum seekers would only have to live in these centers for a short time before being offered alternative accommodation or the opportunity to move to their own accommodation. In Tidöpartierna's proposal, asylum seekers must live in these centers for the entire time they wait for their asylum decision, regardless of whether it takes months or years.
The EU wants a dignified and respectful migration reception
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says she wants the EU to deal with migration in a way that upholds dignity and respect. Sweden should set a good example in this work. Unfortunately, Sweden instead seems to be moving in the opposite direction. Even when it comes to accepting quota refugees, who are the most vulnerable people on the run, the Tidö parties have failed to deliver. Sweden's lack of commitment damages the country's reputation internationally, and it is above all the people on the run who need help and protection who suffer from this betrayal.
The purpose of the Tidö parties does not seem to be to make the asylum process more efficient, but rather to discourage people from seeking help in Sweden. Tidölaget does not strive to protect people on the run, but rather Sweden from refugees. He points out that this damages Sweden's reputation internationally and the most vulnerable people on the run who need help and protection.

Preventive and repressive measures are not enough against gang crime and crime
I thought a consistent conservative, or liberal, policy would be that refugees should work and support themselves as soon as possible, not sit in an institution and be supported. But alas, how one deceives oneself.
Become!
Be
The treatment must be based on how I myself want to be treated.
Right now with an aggressive Russia around the corner, it is not inconceivable that many Swedes will also become refugees at some point.
