New graduates from university but also high school and those with not full working capacity are two particularly vulnerable groups in our tough labor market.
To help unemployed recent graduates, I suggest trainee jobs with a salary of approx. 16-18 a month. These would give people the experience they need and give them an income to base the social security fund on.
Increase the salary contribution
Already today, those who have been diagnosed by a doctor as lacking full working capacity can receive wage subsidy employment. If the working capacity is 25%, the employer receives a financial support of 75% of the employment cost. The only problem is that the employer only receives support for salaries of up to 16 a month. At the same time, the wage subsidy wages must be in accordance with the collective agreement. Many have wages according to the collective agreements that are higher than 700.
We need to raise the grant level for salary grants to at least 25 per month. Then it covers most normal income earner levels. Otherwise, there is a risk that employers will not dare to hire people with disabilities despite the wage subsidy.
