A society that favors a large majority at the expense of a large minority has problems on an incredible number of fronts.
Citizens complain that with Löfven's government, 80% who work have gotten worse so that the 20% who don't work will get better. I'm not sure the numbers are right because I don't think as many as 80% benefited from the previous government. Nationally, the purchasing power of 80% is not enough to keep growth going at any significant level. Growth is needed to prevent today's capitalist system from collapsing. But that a large majority should be better off is usually wrong, because it often involves excluding the minority from its share of the pie. On the one hand, working life has been made unnecessarily efficient so that not everyone keeps up, and on the other hand, the public sector would need to be expanded so that everyone would even have a chance to get a job.
So far we have only talked about the economic aspects of disadvantaging the 20%. There are other aspects such as those who work, let's say, get a few thousand more a month after tax, while at the same time suffering e.g. more and more in working life from stress diseases such as migraines, fibromyalgia, pain and anxiety. A great many of those who are still working are on the verge of being burnt out themselves. The most common reason for sick leave is mental illness.
And society is lagging behind on more and more fronts due to too low taxes and privatizations such as the increasingly technically striking railway, the falling school results, the lack of nurses and doctors, lack of cheap, good rental properties, which has led to a rampant private housing market...
