For a society to compete today and in the future, it must have a well-educated workforce. To get this, we must offer those who choose to train good conditions and qualified jobs. A highly educated person who does not get a qualified job soon loses his cutting-edge skills and becomes a warning sign to those who are thinking about getting an education after high school that this does not pay off. This leads to a vicious circle where development stagnates.
Furthermore, the conditions for those at the bottom of the hierarchy in capitalist societies are often appalling. The only thing that keeps people from revolting is society's promise of a way out of the misery at the bottom of society to those who choose to further their education. When society can no longer fulfill this promise, it has lost much of its legitimacy in the eyes of the people.
We cannot spare ourselves competitiveness. We must continue to develop and expand society so that there are jobs for everyone and qualified ones for those who have furthered their education after high school. Such skilled jobs must be available even for those without experience. You have to start somewhere. If we don't have goals how will it know the direction?
All sectors will also need labor in the future. Therefore, all employers must think about how they can improve wages and working conditions at their own workplace in order to attract labor in the future as well.
In addition, the working conditions must be such that people do not suffer from work-related illness and such that the organization can engage in hiring new people.
The Swedish parties express no vision of the future for the development of Swedish society. It is time for a public benefit idea work on all levels.
